Really fascinated by the mention of fucoidan here. Do you recommend just regular supplement consumption for folks who are just looking to stay healthy and are interested in or curious about its benefits?

Hi! New subscriber, fellow nutritionist, love what you're doing/thinking/eating <3

This is nitpicky, but I'm wondering why you chose the word "detoxifying" for this pudding, when in a more recent post you were adamant about not needing to detox (because your liver does it for you).

The neverending "to detox or not to detox" debate is trite at this point - and I often find myself frustrated with both camps. My firm belief is that detox organs need more or less SUPPORT -depending on who you are/circumstances. The word is sort of rigged now, heavy-laden. Annoying because I sometimes find myself using it as a shortcut and then have to back-pedal and say "WHAT I ACTUALLY MEAN IS...."

Hi! I love this comment and this question!!! Thank you. I also totally see where you're coming from. I am experiencing a multiple year health crisis due to heavy metal poisoning after living in a rural area with mining. It poisoned the water, earth, yadda yadda. Earlier in the post, when I mention chlorella, I am just referring to its ability to bind to these very real toxins - I've been on a molybdenum and chlorella program for a while now to continue supporting that. The term detox is real when it comes to actual toxins - my beef with it (and I think yours, too) is when it's used willy nilly about everything else, in labeling, etc. Does that make sense? While writing this, the bridge from chlorella's properties being toxin binding to that pudding felt clear, but if it isn't coming across that way to you, then I need to find a better way to write that!

(You might be in the same camp as me? Tbh I first read the "wellness is so annoying" post, and then jumped over to this one bc it looked fun -and it is- but when I saw the word "detox" pop up twice, from a different angle each time, I was like "hmmm wonder what she really thinks...")
